Google Sheets

Google Sheets — displays a Google Sheets range live on the screen – ideal for metrics, lists or schedules.

Purpose

Bring spreadsheet contents to the display automatically. The selected cell range is reloaded at an adjustable interval, so changes appear automatically.

  • An accessible Google Sheets spreadsheet (sharing/account).
  • At least one configured screen for playback.

What is an instance?

An instance is a specific, configured output of the app – a connected spreadsheet range with its display settings. You can create multiple instances and assign them to different screens.

Manage instances

After clicking, you land in the app's instance management. Here you see existing instances and create another one with Neue Instanz (New instance) (top right).

Save & play on the screen

  1. Name the instance and configure it as desired.
  2. Save at the top right with Speichern & Schliessen (Save & Close).
  3. The instance is now available under the app.
  4. Assign it to your screen – directly as content or embedded in a Layout or Playlist.
  5. At the next sync, the content appears on the display and updates automatically.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Wrong section

Adjust the range (e.g. A1:E20).

Data outdated

Shorten the reload interval.

Too small/large

Scale using the zoom factor.

Content does not appear

Check whether the instance is assigned to the correct screen/layout and the Player is online.
