newhome.ch

With the «newhome.ch» app you display filtered real estate listings from the Swiss property portal newhome.ch on the screen.

Show matching properties in the shop window or at reception, filtered by region, offer type and property type. The listings update automatically.

Here is how newhome.ch looks on the screen, examples in use:

• An active revolutionSCREEN account with access to my.rstv.app.
• newhome.ch is a premium app (crown icon in the Appstore) and must be enabled for your account.
• Listings on newhome.ch in the desired region.
• At least one configured screen.

In the sidebar on the left click «Apps» and at the top «zum App-Store» (to the Appstore).

Scroll to the «Alle» (All) list and click the «newhome.ch» tile. Use the category buttons to narrow the list.

The app's detail view opens. If it is not yet installed, first click «Installiere» (Install). Then click «Neue Instanz» (New instance). «App Guide» opens a short guide.

Under «Apps › Meine Apps» (My Apps) you see all instances of the app as tiles. Use «Neue Instanz» (New instance) at the top right to add another one, and click a tile to open an existing one.

In the editor, hover over the title and click the pencil to give the instance a name. A new instance shows «Kein Name angegeben» (No name specified) in red until then. At the top right you choose whether the preview appears in portrait or landscape format.

On the left are all settings, on the right the live preview immediately shows how the instance will look on the screen. Use the arrow next to the card to collapse the settings.

• Logo: select your own logo via «Bilder» (Images).
• Layout: template for the presentation. On request we create a template in your branding, it then appears in this list.
• Language: display language, e.g. «German».
• Postal code: postal codes of the desired region, multiple ones separated by commas, e.g. 6370,6000,6006.
• Partner Code: code of a provider on newhome.ch.
• Exclude partner: hides the listings of the provider from «Partner Code».
• Offer type: buy or rent, e.g. «Buy».
• Property type: property types that appear: «Haus» (House), «Wohnung» (Apartment), «Bauland» (Building land), «Apartmenthaus» (Apartment building), «Business», «Parkplatz» (Parking space).
• Spidering: extended source search of newhome.ch.
• Image required: shows only properties with an image.
• Exclude title: hides listings with certain terms in the title.
• Slide duration: display time per property in seconds, e.g. 5.

newhome.ch shows several posts one after another per instance. When you place the instance in a Playlist or Layout, you set how long it runs via the element duration. To do so, click the duration of the element. This logic applies to all apps with multiple posts per instance.

In the «Elementdauer bearbeiten!» (Edit element duration) window, the toggle decides between two variants. It is usually called «pro Post» (per post), and «pro Slide» (per slide) for presentations. Use «Confirm» to apply the setting.

Variant 1: toggle OFF (total duration)
The set time applies to the whole instance. Example 00:01:00: The instance runs for one minute. The posts switch in order during this time and start over if needed. So not necessarily all posts appear.

Variant 2: toggle ON (duration per post)
The set time applies to each post. Example 00:00:10 with 12 posts: Each post appears for exactly 10 seconds, the instance runs a total of 2 minutes. The list then shows «pro Post» (per post) or «pro Slide» (per slide) under the duration.

Save the instance at the top right with «Speichern & Schliessen» (Save & Close).

Add to a Playlist: Open the Playlist, select the «Apps» tab on the right, click the app and then the instance. The instance is added immediately.

Add to a Layout: Open the Layout and click the pencil at the desired section.

In the «Inhalt für Abschnitt bearbeiten» (Edit content for section) window you add the instance with «Inhalt hinzufügen» (Add content). On the right of each element you set the schedule via «Täglich» (Daily).

Then click «Veröffentlichen» (Publish) in the Playlist or Layout. As long as it shows «Entwurf, Veröffentlichung erforderlich» (Draft, publication required), the screen still displays the old state.
